I will be spending all day Tuesday in your fine city (likely relying on public transportation for the duration). What should Dusty do there to kill time?*
Baja Bug for your time
*Finding a movie theater and watching Kubo is on my list because I <3 Laika Studios like you can’t even imagine.

Assuming you are flying, take the Blue line to downtown minneapolis. Food, art museums etc. . Could also go to mall of america as it is right next to MSP.

Send yourself a package home and race it using Delta.
It’s going to be a real challenge. By the time you leave the airport, the package will at least be halfway there.

I’d hit up matt’s bar or burger jones if you’re looking for a bite to eat. There are some great museums if you're into that. I recommend the Jackson street roundhouse if you like trains.

Won’t be much of a race. I’m flying in tomorrow night, driving to Detroit Lakes for a rally on Wednesday, and not flying home until the following Monday.

Check schedules for first avenue and triple rock to see if any good bands are playing. I would personally try to check out a Twinkies ball game because even though I’m not a sportsball person I like baseball, because nostalgia, probably.

As mentioned already, take the blue line to downtown. Tomorrow is supposed to be a little hot and muggy, but not terrible, so I’d recommend Stone Arch Bridge/Gold Medal Park to kill some time. While there, go to the endless bridge in the Guthrie Theater for some great views.
Others have already mentioned First Ave. Worth getting a picture by the Prince star. There is no show tomorrow night in the mainroom, however.
The Twins are in town. Whether you like baseball or not, it’s one of the nicest stadiums in the league and has some great Minnesota food. $20 bucks will get you a seat. First pitch @ 7:10.
Foshay Tower. It was the tallest building in Minneapolis until the 1970s. Now it’s hard to find in the skyline. 30 floors up. Outdoor observation deck. $8 gets you up there. There is also a bar up there.
Brit’s Pub. If you’re looking for a neat place to get a beer check it out. Make sure to go upstairs and outside. There’s a large area for lawn bowling.
Unfortunately, most of the car related things are way out in the burbs. You’d kill half the day jumping from bus to bus to get to the go-kart tracks or similar. Your best bet is to stay downtown, eat at some good restaurants, cool bars, and have fun. Make sure you document and do a post on it!

Change of plans, I'm spending an extra day in San Francisco and flying in tomorrow night instead of tonight. It's all Ballaban's fault.
